While I lived in Franklin I was privileged to work with a great group of girls ranging from ages 12-18. I was the Sunday school teacher for the 14-15 yr olds. But I did get to hang out with them all on Wednesday nights! Turns out a lot of them were really interested in photography. We did two workshops where I taught them photo basics, one intense photo shoot (hardest I’ve EVER worked!–but SO fun), and it ended with an exhibit of all their work mounted and displayed. We ate a million different cheeses and had background music from an amazing musician that goes to church with us. I was SUPER impressed with all of their amazing work! And now I get to show off the pictures I took of them during our photo shoot.

miss you girls!!!
xxoo, andrea
These guys have THE cutest “how we met” story. Apparently, Diane was working at a store and after outfitting Eric in some expensive new duds she got his number as part of the “check out” process. On his way out he told his friend, “Now that’s the kind of girl I should be dating….hey, did she get your phone number?” And the rest as they say, is history. Also, I’ve never cried so much at a wedding! Their dads and brothers gave some great toasts. Thanks so much for having me as part of your day!

Last weekend I got to go back to Franklin and do a few more photo shoots. This was one of them. I love and adore this family so much. They took us under their wing when we moved to Franklin. Actually, more likely, we crawled under their wing and they were nice enough to put up with us. There are so many more great pictures from this shoot! It was so hard narrowing it down.

Hali and Mike’s wedding was so fun! I loved all of their details! They got married in the Nashville Tennessee Temple, one of my favorite places. And they had their reception inside The Factory in Franklin. I got a great shot of the father of the Bride dancing.
You’ll know which one it is. Hali and Mike, you are such a fun couple! I hope you had a perfect honeymoon! I wish you two the best! Thanks so much for having me be a part of your day.

For Hali’s bridals we went to this great historic building in Brentwood. She looked absolutely gorgeous, as you can see. Her mom and aunt were awesome assistants for Hali!

I think my favorite is the black and white with her hands on the door frame. Kinda hard for me to pick, though. What’s yours?
May 26-May 31 for the big move.
wish us luck!
I have been looking forward to this photo shoot for months…and then we got rained out! Talk about torture! But…our make up day really and truly made up for it. Gorgeous sun and not too hot. Perfection, actually. Plus, Liesel has a million dollar smile.

Which one is your favorite?
I’ve had so many photo shoots getting rained out lately. I was feeling extra happy when the rain clouds had moved on from the Johnson’s home by the time I got there. We had a little fun with some sunflares, an action shot, the dog wouldn’t come join us so we joined her, and oh so much more! I hope you all have fun looking at these. Such a cute family!

SQUIRREL!

THANK YOU Johnson family!
Kenz, part 2 as promised!
I followed Kenz and his mom home to get a few shots of him at the piano. By then our creative juices were really flowing. And out came the collections!

This towel was from the state championships. Right, Kenz?
I had never heard of anyone having so many bowling balls before. I think my eyes were popping when they just kept bringing them out! Talk about fun!
We started out at Franklin HS and ended up at the Factory. We had perfect weather and a lovely entourage.
Plus…I love how guys these days can swoosh their hair perfectly into place.
It’s awesome.

PS.. This why I love Senior photo shoots:
So much energy!
And yes…
that is my reflector off to the left. Dang it.
ah, well. c’est-la-vie
Thanks Spencer! You made my job easy!
And a special thanks to Laura (his mom and my friend)…I knew she was a great mom. But now I know she will truly do anything for him!
And thanks Liesel and Maggie for helping me get him to laugh!
