Sam! Franklin HS class of 2012! | Nashville TN High School photographer

Coming into the session I knew it was going to be fun and it was! This is my fourth time with Sam at a photo shoot, but first time focused just on her. And I know she really has been looking forward to this for years. I tell Seniors 2-3 outfits which Sam did, but then with all the accessories she brought I counted and she had 12 different looks! TWELVE. I love it! I love having someone this into it! I taught Sam in a church class when we lived in Nashville and all this time I thought she wanted me to do pictures because I was the best teacher of all time, but no. Turns out I’m just her fav photog. Which is a way better reason to hire a photographer! And the better compliment to me! Sam is phenomenal in front of a camera! I’m having the hardest time narrowing these down. And her different expressions are so fun, I had to do a few series of the same shot. Enjoy! Give Sam some love in the comments. What are your favs?

Harrison | High School senior photography

You all have met Harrison before when I did his family photos. He has come to help and be in a few photos with friends so this is actually his fourth photo shoot with me. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this long enough to have people around for that many different sessions. Time flies! A lot of guys don’t love the outfit changes like the girls do. I like what he did to mix it up though bringing a jacket and changing from jeans to khakis really helped to add variety. Harrison is a very cool kid and was a great sport willing to do anything. That’s what I like! We met up in the morning and we had a crazy amount of fog. I kept hoping as I was driving up to Nashville that it would GO AWAY. It did for the most part. And I think the left over effects of it are actually pretty cool. Harrison is a senior at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, TN.

I had a great time with Emma. I love the contrast of her porcelain skin and her dark hair. She is off either now or soon to look at some colleges! It sure is an exciting time and I love getting to be a part of it!

Meet gorgeous Casey! Actually, she’s been on this blog before when I took her family photos last year. Casey plays Rugby for Ravenwood HS and she has two state champ rings to show for it! And also, another fun Casey factoid…she has painted her toe nails in the exact same way for the past three years! She was fun and they did a great job scoping out a fun location. Just your simple four million dollar home. It was for sale. Casey’s mom was cracking me up the whole time taking photos with her phone of the house for ideas for her own house. I love this first shot. It’s my favorite.

We had so many obstacles to this shoot that I knew it would have to end up being great and it was! Alli is gorgeous! I had a blast working with her. It was definitely worth the wait!

Meet Ashley! She is gorgeous and fun and I loved our location! It was kind of a yucky morning, but you never would have guessed by the evening. It was overcast but the sun setting gave the most gorgeous glow! Ashley is graduating from Heritage High School in just a few days. Congratulations Ashley!

Savannah, her mom, and I went to this new location. It’s a little off the beaten path and I am loving it! She is gorgeous! And between the variety of our location and her different outfits, I had a really hard time narrowing down her photos. That is a good problem! Not to mention that this weather is making my life a dream come true right now! Well at least as far a photo shoots go!
