Andrea Larsen Photo {the blog}

 Welcome to my blog and thank you for looking at my work!  I am a natural light photographer in Maryville & Knoxville TN. I specialize in High School Senior photography.

 I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BFA in studio art.  My concentration was drawing.  I am an artist.

My love for photography blossomed naturally with my desire to capture the brilliance of my children.  They are delightful little creatures and are used to having a camera in their faces.

My favorite images to capture are full of motion and emotion.  Which is why I LOVE working with HS seniors.  They are so full of life and excitement.  Seniors will do any crazy thing I ask them to do and I love them for it!

I always have the best time ever on a photo shoot.  Every time!  It's awesome.

Shiver Family | Maryville TN photographer

The Shivers have a gorgeous home and luckily they live in a neighborhood which is still growing, so there were some beautiful open fields.  We had such great weather and when Nicole brought out the UT rockers it really started to feel like fall!  I can’t wait. I loved seeing how sweet the kids were...

This is Zeke. Short for Ezekiel.  He is such a special little guy.  Just look at this face!  He has such a bright, bright mind.  And I’m so lucky to be his aunt!  Since he just turned 8 years old he has reached the age of being able to be baptized (as any Mormon kid...

Widman family

Last weekend I got to go back to Franklin and do a few more photo shoots. This was one of them. I love and adore this family so much. They took us under their wing when we moved to Franklin.  Actually, more likely, we crawled under their wing and they were nice enough to put...

Johnson Family

I’ve had so many photo shoots getting rained out lately.  I was feeling extra happy when the rain clouds had moved on from the Johnson’s home by the time I got there.  We had a little fun with some sunflares, an action shot, the dog wouldn’t come join us so we joined her, and oh...

Allan family

The Allan’s are SUCH a fun family!  They are literally oozing with this really great fun energy.  And as if that wasn’t enough we had perfect weather! With beautiful Kelsey (graduating senior!)  I will now officially end the regularly scheduled blogging. And now, a few just for fun.  I have proof that guys actually can...

Larsen crew

This post would probably be a lot more entertaining if I put up the bloopers from this shoot.  This is me and my little family.  Which means that before I figured out how to change the timer from 2 sec to 10 I got a lot of shots of me in full sprint.  Not attractive....

the family that reads together, is smart together

Is that how the saying goes? For Thanksgiving we went back home.  To beautiful East TN.  And not only that, but I got to do this shoot with some of my very best friends in my absolutely favorite place on earth.  Maryville has the best park system running all through town and right up to...
