Meet the Critchlows! They are such a great family. And they have the perfect photo shoot house! Wouldn’t you agree?!! I had the hardest time trying to narrow it down to my 10 favs. But I forced myself to because uploading pics onto my new pretty blog is such a bear! Maybe there’s a trick I haven’t figured out yet. And while I’m on the subject…does it take forever for my blog to upload on your computers? Just wondering.
Every time I do a shoot with a family of 7 it seems like the perfect number. Maybe 5 would be equally perfect. Yes, I think odd numbers are better for pictures. Why doesn’t that come up more often when people discuss how many children they are going to have? Chris and I obviously didn’t have that discussion (just 2 kiddos).
We did this shoot on Halloween morning. It was a gorgeous day outside and just a little wet and chilly. Only one kid slipped on the wet grass and only one photographer backed into a water-filled hole up to her mid calf. Both shall of course, remain nameless. Actually, the funny thing was that they were just pointing out that hole and how the boys wanted to dig one day and they told them to go for it, out near the barn. Thanks Sarah, David and crew! I had a blast!
I learned something new. This pose is called "posting it up." Who knew? so cute.
